Year of Yes

In this thought-provoking read, Hollywood writer and director Shonda Rhimes, shares how a year of saying yes changed her life.

Even with three hit shows on television, Rhimes is a born introvert and at one time, lived her life saying no more than she said yes. But then she decided to make a change. By simply saying yes, more than no, Rhimes discovered the profound impact this would have. You will be inspired as Rhimes reveals how saying yes changed – and saved – her life.

Girl Wash Your Face

This month’s inspiring read by Rachel Hollis exposes the twenty lies and misconceptions that can hold us back from living joyfully and productively and reveals specific practical strategies to help you move past them.

Using the same candid honesty and raw humour as her website TheChicSite.comGirl, Wash Your Face shows you how to live with passion and hustle and how to give yourself grace without giving up. The book is encouraging, entertaining, and convincing. You will leave it feeling motivated to embrace your life with new passion.

The Hustle

There is no shortage of content available in your email and in your feed, but The Hustle is worth a subscribe. I was skeptical when I first signed up, but since then have been pleasantly surprised by their refreshing and informative business content.

I skip the odd post, but when I do click, I end up reading about something useful for my business or at the very least, interesting to bring up at my next networking coffee.

DYK: Did you know some luxury brands destroy their unsold inventory so it doesn’t end up discounted and hurting their brand?
